I hope by advertising this band you will download two of their albums! Mystery Jets are an English indie pop rock band. Originally the “Misery Jets”, their name was misspelled on t-shirts they made so there you have it. Their album Twenty One is perfection, and it’s produced by the English Turk Erol Alkan. I fell in love with it from the second full album play. I only had “Two Doors Down” which is the most electropoppy song on the album. I downloaded it assuming the rest of the album was this synthy, but it was not to be. I was disappointed and put it aside. Then I played the album twice on repeat and fell in love. Every time I listen to a song again, I love it more. I must have more! As I thought so, I download Serotonin, which was not as great but just a notch less great!
Highlights on “First To Know”, “Veiled in Grey”, “Behind the Bunhouse” and “Young Love (ft. Laura Marling)” from Twenty One. (Yup! It’s that good)
Highlights on “Alice Springs” and “Serotonin” from Serotonin. (Still good!)
Peace!
